Debbie Tablotney: A Passion for Education

My name is Debbie Tablotney and I am running for re-election for School Trustee on November 15th. Our family has been living in Westwind since 1987. My three sons attended Westwind School and have graduated from 3 different high schools in Richmond. Our family run insurance business has been located in Richmond since 1990.

The Qualifications I bring to the job of Trustee:

Many candidates come out at election time and claim that they are passionate about education and how they are going to make changes to fix this and that. How many have even been to a board meeting? The problem is lots of them will talk the talk, but how many can say they have actually walked the walk.

I have been actively involved in our Richmond school system in some capacity for the past 25 years.
